Goodrich Landing Gear supports commercial, military, regional and business customers throughout the world. Our customers include Boeing Commercial and Military, Lockheed-Martin, Airbus, Bombardier, Gulfstream, Northrop-Grumman, Agusta, Sikorsky and the U.S. Government.
Goodrich Landing Gear facilities in Canada possess total capabilities for the design, development, manufacture and support of complete landing gear and flight control systems.
Goodrich Landing Gear is a world leader in the design, development, manufacture and support of landing gear assemblies and integrated systems. Our experience with structural design and analysis, developmental testing and qualification, materials processing, manufacturing, system and sub-system integration and support is recognized globally by both Prime Aircraft Manufacturers and Operators. In order to conduct the critical strength and performance qualification tests that landing gear must be undergo Goodrich has built the largest, most advanced test facilities and rigs in the industry right here in Canada.
The level and diversity of our experience is a key attribute in an industry where equipment absolutely has to work, all the time! After all, there is a lot riding on our landing gear...and we’ve staked our reputation on it.
Goodrich in Oakville currently provides the landing gear for all Boeing Commercial Aircraft presently in production including all models of the 737, 767 and 777 aircraft, as well as the new 747-8 currently under development. In addition to Boeing’s legacy programs, we produce the massive body and wing landing gears for Airbus’ giant A380 Aircraft.
And we don’t stop with large commercial aircraft, we also produce and support regional and business aircraft landing gear systems including Gulfstream’s 350/450, 500/550 and 650 models as well as completely integrated landing systems for Bombardier CRJ700, CRJ900, CRJ1000 and Dash 8 Q400 models.
Our product line in Canada involves design, development, manufacturing and processing of sophisticated components as well as integrated systems which include all ATA Chapter 32 components from cockpit control to electronic processing units, braking systems, proximity sensing systems, and steering control systems.
Goodrich is also the designer and manufacturer of smaller gears and is working with Agusta in the development of the integrated landing system for the A149 Military Helicopter as well as Sikorsky on all models of the very successful S-76 Helicopter.
Goodrich’s current flight control system programs include the primary and secondary controls for Bombardier’s RJ and CRJ 700/900 and the fl y-by-wire flap actuation systems for the C-17 Airlifter. There are also complete flight control repair and overhaul facilities at our Oakville site.
And we support what we sell! Customer Support at Goodrich means spares provisioning and support, repair and overhaul services, warranty support, on-line technical publications, on-site technical support, as well as time saving ground support equipment. Goodrich Landing Gear Services Burlington is a full service, state-of-the-art repair and overhaul facility for landing gears.
Burlington’s capabilities include repair and overhaul of commercial and military aircraft landing gear. From Boeing’s Commercial Aircraft and C-17B Military Transport to Bombardier’s Regional Jets, the Burlington Support Team is there to assist our customers with all of their aftermarket needs. This established facility is one of the most modern and self contained overhaul facilities in the world. It has the complete equipment and resources required for accelerated turn times and has the required engineering support to ensure the highest level of product integrity throughout its life cycle.
Landing Gear Services Burlington meets all the requirements of the FAA and European authorities and is certified by Transport Canada.
