Satellite Missions
MDA’s current satellite mission activities are focused on the development of high value, turnkey small satellite solutions that combine responsiveness with end-to-end functionality delivered to the mission end user. With a core strength in Earth Observation, MDA is now providing satellite missions for space surveillance, information delivery and space science. The company is unique in that it provides end-to-end design and development for the entire space segment, associated ground segment, operations and services.
Satellite Systems

Earth Observation Ground Systems and Defence Systems
MDA is a leader in Earth observation systems, having built over 70% of the world’s civilian multi-satellite Earth observation ground stations. Recognized internationally for its contribution to space and airborne optical and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) image processing and correction techniques, MDA is the only Canadian company capable of providing a full range of integrated surveillance, reconnaissance and C4ISR systems and information products to defence and security customers.
