2010 AIAC James C. Floyd Award Winner

  • At its 49th AGM and Conference, held October 26th and 27th, 2010, AIAC rewarded Dr. Wagdi Habashi from McGill University with the first AIAC James C. Floyd Award for Recent Canadian Aerospace Achievement.

    This award recognized Dr. Habashi’s work in computational fluid dynamics which has led to advanced simulation techniques that can accurately predict flow, ice impingement and ice accretion on the entire aircraft under all atmospheric conditions.

    Dr. Habashi is a true innovator and contributor to the success of the aerospace industry and a fine example of Canada’s best!
